WorkBoard Focused Mode

WorkBoard Focused Mode

WorkBoard Focused Mode is a feature designed to enhance productivity by allowing users to concentrate on their most immediate task. This mode emphasizes the first/current Flex Appointment, ensuring that it receives the most attention.

Enabling/Disabling Focused Mode

User Control

  • Users can optionally enable or disable Focused Mode via the Normal/Focused radio button located in the Flex Appointment lane on the WorkBoard.

Admin Control

  • Admins have the ability to force Focused Mode on or off for individual users, providing selective control over this feature.

To force enable Focused Mode, go to:

  1. Admin Portal
  2. Users
  3. Edit User
  4. Click WorkBoard
  5. Enable Focused Mode

Functionality

  • Primary Focus: When Focused Mode is enabled, controls are removed from all Flex Appointments except for the first/current one. The remaining Flex Appointments are faded, directing attention to the most immediate task.
  • WorkBoard Specific: This mode is effective only on the WorkBoard. It does not impact the Rocketship Calendar or any other features within Rocketship.

Use Case

Focused Mode is ideal for users who need to minimize distractions and concentrate on completing their current task before moving on to the next one. Admins can use this feature to help team members stay focused and maintain productivity.

By incorporating Focused Mode into your workflow, you can ensure that the most important tasks receive the attention they deserve, helping to improve overall efficiency and task management.
