How do I customize the Calendar Invites sent by Rocketship?
When a Fixed Appointment is created, Rocketship will send a Calendar Invite to any linked Contacts and Resources.
By default, we will use these values when sending the invite:
- From Name: YourCompanyName – IT Support
- Reply-To: YourSupportEmail
Subject:
- If Onsite Fixed Appt: Onsite Support: {{ticket#}} – {{ticketTitle}}
- If Remote Fixed Appt: Remote Support: {{ticket#}} – {{ticketTitle}}
At this time, we allow you to override the default From Name and Reply-To. For example, you may want the From Name to be “YourCompanyName” only, e.g., “Rocket MSP”.
Defining custom settings is done via Rocketship Admin:
- Log into Rocketship Admin
- Go to Scheduling->Scheduling Home
- Click on Fixed Appointment Settings
Edit one or both of:
- Custom Calendar Invite From Name
- Custom Calendar Invite Reply-To Email Address
- Click Save
